How to Get Rid of UOP on BD with Passkey?
The user operation prohibition (UOP) is a form of DRM used on DVD/Blu-ray discs for copyright notices or warnings, such as an FBI warning in the United States, and "protected" advertisements which can't be skipped.
If you insert a Blu-ray with UOP into a player, probably you will need to wait around ten minutes to get to the movie part. Because of UOP, you have to watch a slew of commercials and anti-piracy videos which all can't be skipped. What you can do is just waiting.
If only we can get rid of all those UOPs and immediately watch the Blu-ray movie content! With Passkey for Blu-ray, everything can be done.
Just run Passkey for Blu-ray, and insert UOP protected BD into BD-drive, then Passkey will decrypt UOP on-the-fly.
When the "Open Blu-ray source" window disappears, the UOPs are removed. You can go to Info page of Settings window to confirm this.
Note: The BD we used for example has no UOP protection, that's why you can't see any UOP info in the above window.
OK. That's all you need to do to decrypt UOP on BD with Passkey for Blu-ray. For more info about Passkey for Blu-ray, just visit: http://www.passkeysoftware.com/glossary/uops.html
