Passkey Lite, also known as Free DVD/Blu-ray Decrypter, is an always free option of Passkey. It combines Passkey for DVD and Passkey for Blu-ray together with some functionalities omitted. The positive side is that it has the ability to remove both DVD and Blu-ray protections as only one app, the negative side is only part of all the DVD/Blu-ray protections can be removed.
With Passkey Lite, you can freely watch any DVD movies, and some Blu-ray movies. You are able to use other third party software to access DVD/Blu-ray contents which have been decrypted by Passkey Lite.
It supports HD DVD and Audio CD, and can still reset Blu-ray player's region.

Unprotect part of all DVD/Blu-ray discs

Passkey Lite can remove CSS, CPPM, RC, RCE, APS, and UOPs of all the known DVD protections, not including CPRM, ARccOS, RipGuard etc. For Blu-ray protections, it can only remove AACS V10, RC, BD-Live, and UOPs.

You can freely watch any DVD and reset Blu-ray player's region

Passkey Lite allows you to enjoy any DVD with no limit, and can make your Blu-ray players like PowerDVD, WinDVD, etc. in fact "multi-region" as the region can be reset freely.

Support HD DVD and Audio CD

HD DVD and Audio CD are fully supported by Passkey Lite. You can use Passkey Lite to remove first play title, UOPs, parental restrictions and all menus for HD DVD; to remove CD digital audio protection for Audio CD.

Some flexible settings

Like Passkey for DVD and Passkey for Blu-ray, Passkey Lite also allows you to make many settings. You can change the UI language; choose to run Passkey at Windows startup, show progress window while scanning disc, check for new version and DMA automatically, play sound when event occurs, and much more.
